I had a doctor's appoinment today. Everything looks good. Heart rate was 144bpm and I am measuring about the same as last week 36/37 weeks. I mentioned to the doctor that I felt like Dillan had dropped some this last week...not that I thought it was possible since he was already so low :). He went ahead and examined me and said that Dillan's head was really low and I am 1cm dilated and 50% effaced. Obviously this doesn't necessarily mean much, but if I remember correctly...I don't think I was effaced at all with Jackson prior to the induction. At least it is a good start.

My mom requested a picture of the belly. Sorry I wasn't looking cuter, but this is the reality folks :) Work out clothes are a staple these days. It is amazing that my hair wasn't in a pony tail!
This is the only picture I took of Jackson this week. There were plenty of times I wanted to take a picture, but didn't have a camera readily available :( As you can see, Jackson loves putting on our shoes. In this particular picture he is wearing my tennis shoes :)* One of my new favorite words that he says is "Whoa!". Jackson has a lot of words, but many of them are only recognizable by Walt & I.
* Jackson has recently been going through an "attached" phase. I feel like it has gotten better and he is playing more independently. He will go to the people in the church nursery, but apparently they are having to hold him the whole time. Hopefully he will be back to playing and having a good time in the nursery soon!

* I mentioned that Jackson was sleeping till 7am after the time change, but that only lasted a week or so. He is now back to waking up between 5:45am-6:15am.
* Jackon loves playing with play doh. He asks to play with it every day. He likes using the tools and using the shape cutters, etc...obviously I am very involved in this process :)
* He still LOVES playing outside. He likes playing with the water hose, digging in the dirt using Daddy's plastic tools, playing basketball, and playing with anything that he can find in the garage :)

* Jackson is such an affectionate, fun, loving, and happy little boy. He brings such joy to our lives. We are praying for a smooth transition for him upon Dillan's arrival.
