5 Months / Mother's Day Weekend

It is hard to believe that Aiden is 5 months old!  He is such a sweet little boy, but as I mentioned before...if he gets mad....he gets MAD!  I love my time with him when the older boys are taking their afternoon naps.  It is a very special time where I can just focus on him!  He is so engaging...laughing and smiling and talking.  He is still only rolling over from his back to his tummy.  He is eating rice cereal once a day, but I think I need to bump it to twice a day.  He is still only taking 30 minute naps and he was only waking up once at night around 4am / 5am, but the last couple of nights he has been waking up around 1am.  We are letting him cry it out per the recommendation of our pediatrician :(  Thankfully, he does not seem to be phased by it when he wakes up in the morning :)  He used to cry every time we got in the car, but this last month he has done great.  He seems to actually enjoy it and seems to like going places.  We went to Monkey Joes this week and the boys had a blast.  Aiden did amazing!  We are so blessed to have this little boy in our lives!
Despite the look on his face, he still loves his fingers.  He sucks on his fingers more than his thumb.  I am not sure if that is because he is teething...which he definitely is doing!  Lots of drool and everything goes in his mouth!  He will occasionally take the pacifier before nap time or if he is getting upset, but it never stays in his mouth for long.

He loves playing with his feet!

The many faces of Aiden :)  I have yet to really get a picture of him smiling because he is always distracted by the camera.  I will have to come up with something because I need to capture that sweet smile!

It was finally warm enough to bring out our "pool" and Walt also watched my car.  Dillan was happy because he loves playing with the water hose.  The boys and I all got a cold....Aiden and I probably had it the worst, but then poor Dillan's turned into an ear infection :(  I am hoping that the summer will give him a break from being sick!

We plan to join a pool once the boys get older (and I feel safe taking them all by myself), but in the meantime, I am so thankful for the sheer joy this blow up pool brings!  Sweet Jackson kept thanking Walt and I for getting them this pool!
Of course they have their moments, but Jackson and Dillan are really doing a lot better with sharing.  In fact, just this week, Jackson shared something with Dillan and he said, "Mommy...we are sharing!  We are best friends!"  I asked him if Dillan was his best friend and he said, "YES!"  Talk about making a mommy smile!  They really do love each other!  When Jackson is at school, Dillan has started asking for him.  He misses his brother when he is not around!  They also really love sharing a room.

Quite the look...underwear and rainboots :)

At the moment, I do not think Aiden looks like either of his brothers.  Maybe once he gets older I will start to see some similarities, but for right now....nothing!

The boys went all out for Mother's Day.  I had told Walt that my only request was that I did not want to have to cook.  I fully expected that we would grab something out and bring it home.  But the boys had a different idea.  They made breakfast, lunch, and dinner with some of my favorite things!  Walt even printed out a menu and the boys colored on it.  Here was my menu :)

They also went to Lowe's and made these heart shaped picture frames that open up.

Jackson made this for me at school
It was such an incredibly special Mother's Day.  I am so blessed to have 3 precious little ones and a husband that love me so much and went to such great efforts to make me feel loved and special!

Walt's birthday

The boys...especially Jackson were super excited about Walt's birthday and everything that goes along with birthdays...birthday hats, balloons, a cake with sprinkles, and presents :)  It was almost time for Aiden to go to bed, but Walt made it home just in time to be greeted by all 3 of his boys!

I love those cheeks!

As soon as they had their hats on, they wanted to go play baseball :)
I have got to get another camera....I could not get clear pictures :(

The boys and I are so blessed to have Walt in our lives!!!!
