One Month Old Stats and More

Sorry this post is so late...I was ready to hit publish on Monday, but then our internet stopped working :(

Dillan will be 7 weeks old on Monday...so hard to believe! He had his one month appointment a couple of weeks ago. The doctor says he is a healthy boy :) Here are his stats.

Height: 22.5 inches (90th/95th percentile)...at birth he was 22 inches.

Weight: 11lbs 10.5oz (90th/95th percentile)...at birth he was 9lbs 9oz.

Head: 40.25cm (90th/95th percentile)...at birth he was 37cm.

Jackson is so sweet to Dillan. He loves to give him kisses and hugs. I love the way he says Dillan...it is so cute! There are times that I am having to hold Dillan and he wants me to hold him instead. So he will pat the bouncy seat / crib / swing / etc. and say "here". Basically he is telling me where I can put Dillan so that I can hold him...he is so helpful :)

Dillan started smiling around 4 weeks. He is such a sweet baby!

Lately...part 2

It's hard to believe that Dillan will be 5 weeks old tomorrow!!!! He has his one month appointment on Thursday so I will be sure to post an update on that...it may not be timely, but it will happen :)

Walt's sister, Alex, has a membership at her neighborhood pool. So when Walt's parents were in town, we all went and hung out at the pool. Needless to say, Dillan and I did not swim :) Here is a picture of Jackson playing with Walt in the kiddie pool.

Lately...part 1

As I predicted...my weekly posts are a thing of the past :) I have been working on this post for about 2 weeks :) We are doing well. I am still trying to get the hang of things, but we have had help off and on which has been great. Walt's mom left on Tuesday, so we have officially been on our own since then :) Walt has been sick the last couple of days so I am diving right in :)

Jackson is getting so big!

We tried to get a picture of the boys with my sisters. We waited too long and both boys had clearly had enough with taking pictures :)

Dillan all bundled up :) This picture is misleading. Dillan does not sleep in his crib or laying on his back. Since his reflux is so bad he sleeps in his bouncy seat. Jackson also had reflux and slept in the swing for a long time but his reflux was not as bad as Dillan's. Whatever it takes :) Random...I will try to remember to post pictures of the nursery in the next post.

I am not sure if you remember, but when Jackson was a newborn, Walt loved taking pictures of Jackson in just his diaper (without my knowledge of course). The pictures were always unflattering and almost seemed cruel :) Here are some pictures that I discovered recently from a recent photo shoot. Poor Dillan is hunched over just like Jackson was during his photo shoots.

Meredith and Michelle were so sweet. They took time away from their families and came and cooked dinner for us and froze several dinners for us. They even cleaned the house before they left! And of course they helped with the boys, too! I am so blessed to have such amazing sisters! Here they are slaving away in the kitchen!
