So it seems I am now on a monthly update except this month I am running behind and doing a month and a half :) Better late than never :)

I love this picture. Both boys had just gotten up from their naps and were snuggling with Daddy :)
Jackson goes to a 2 day / week program at our church (Tues/Thurs 9:00am-1:00pm). He LOVES it! It is so much fun to hear about his day when I pick him up and he is always excited to go. He even asks to go on "non-school" days. He loves walking in with his backpack on. Here he is on the first day of school. I cannot believe how big our little boy is! He is growing up!
On Tuesdays, I have been doing a Bible study and so Dillan has been going for an hour. Here he is with his big brother on the first day. It is only an 8 week study so it is coming to a close.
Occasionally we get a visit from "Thomas" the turtle. It is always exciting and fun for the boys and I am sure terrifying for the turtle.
Dillan is getting pretty good with a fork and spoon, but sometimes it is just not fast enough so he resorts to using his hands :) He LOVES yogurt!

These are not great pictures of me...especially what I am wearing (old workout pants and a maternity shirt that doesn't quite cover my growing belly). Here is my excuse :) My dad and Walt were building a sandbox for the boys and I fell going down the hill in the back yard and sprained my foot. Note the aircast on my foot. My mom wanted to document me hobbling down the stairs to the finished project. Sandbox pictures to follow. As I said earlier, the pictures are out of order :)

This past weekend we tried to go to a pumpkin patch where you could feed the animals....the same one we went to last year. It is a little bit of a drive. We get there and they are closed...like closed and they no longer have a pumpkin patch. So we stopped at a random place on the side of the road because we had already told Jackson we were going to see some pumpkins. That is the great thing about children. They didn't care...they had a blast!
Once again, not a great picture of me, but wanted to give a shot out to Aiden :) I promise I do wear clothes besides workout clothes...however, I was not feeling that great this particular day and I will admit that workout clothes are a staple these days as they are the only things that are somewhat comfortable.

I love this picture! I only wish I could have gotten a better angle. But Jackson has started giving his brother hugs and kisses and Dillan will actually hug him back. It is the sweetest thing!
Here are a few notes about each boy :)
JACKSON:
* He is doing a great job with potty training. He has not had any accidents at school...granted he won't go while he is at school :) So I take him to the bathroom right before I drop him off and right when I pick him up. I guess he is not comfortable going with the teachers yet. At home, he will usually stop what he is doing and run to the bathroom and insist that he go all by himself. We are still having some issues "pooping" on the potty (i.e. he only wants to go in his pull up at night or nap time), but we are starting to have some success this week so hopefully we are on the right path.
* It is so fun to have conversations with Jackson. He is a great conversationalist...especially for his age :) We had a play date the other day with a couple of girls from his class (the girl / boy ratio is 9 / 4). They were eating a snack at the picnic table and I heard him say "So girls...my daddy is at work today." He was trying to talk to them, but they weren't interested :)
* Jackson is very loving. He definitely loves his mommy, but I must say...he is a Daddy's boy. On the weekends, he is all about Daddy. And since Daddy does a lot of projects around the house, he gets to help out with those projects. He is actually a really good helper. I also benefit from his helpfulness. He always helps me clean up before we have play dates at the house.
DILLAN:
* He "talks" a decent amount, but only says a few words on a consistent basis. The words that he says all the time are "mama", "all done", "uh oh", "cracker", and "look" but it sounds like "gook". Words that he has said, but that he does not say on a regular basis..."dada", "banana", "book", and "car". I am also pretty sure that he said "night night" last night and I think he tries to say Jackson's name, but it doesn't quite come out right. He definitely tries to communicate with you, but usually it involves babbling and pointing, but he is pretty good at getting his point across. I love how if you mention the word "outside"...he takes off running and grabs my shoes and brings them to me to put on.
* He still takes 2 naps a day and is a pretty good napper. He was an early riser like his brother, but has recently started sleeping a little later (6:45-7:00am). He has become quite the snuggler when he wakes up from his nap...which I love!
* He likes playing with his mommy, daddy, and Jackson, but also is good at playing by himself. I am sure he will go through stages, but at the moment...I think his devotion is pretty equal between mommy & daddy. At bedtime or when he is hurt or tired...there is a slight preference for mommy and when it is time to play, there might be a slight preference for daddy. Let's face it...daddy is a lot more fun :)
AIDEN:
* I had my 32 week appointment today. I had to take the gestational diabetes test again because although I passed at 25 weeks, they wanted to test me again since Dillan was such a big baby and it looks like Aiden might be big. Apparently, I am measuring at 34 weeks. Aiden's head is down...so hopefully it will stay that way and his heart beat sounded good. All he has to do is stay put until December 1st (that is the day my mom comes in town). They will likely do a sonogram around 37 weeks to determine if Aiden is going to be a big baby and if so, they plan to induce. If possible, I do not want to induce before 39 weeks because I want to make sure his lungs are in good shape.
* Aiden moves around a lot more than his brothers did and he packs a bigger punch. So this could be interesting :) I have been a lot more uncomfortable this pregnancy, but I hear that is normal with the third. However, I really can't complain...other than being more uncomfortable, this has been another great pregnancy so far and we are so excited to meet him!
