10/1/13 through 10/6/13 (Daddy & Digging)

 Our neighbor is doing a major addition and Walt let the boys take their trucks and dig.  Not a mom approved event, but the boys had fun.

End of September 2013 (James Birthday)

In September, James turned 2 and we got to go and celebrate with him!

 Aiden is a happy boy.  He is crusing around furniture, but not walking yet.  He is also starting to babble more, but still no words...I think he is too busy watching his older brothers :)

  

A little late :) Kelly's visit from Texas!

In August, Walt was out of town on a golf trip and one of my best friends from college, Kelly, came for a visit.  Kelly flew in on Friday night and flew out on Sunday morning.  It was a quick trip, but I had so much fun getting to catch up with her.  We were so busy catching up that I forgot to take any pictures :(  But I do have this one picture that Kelly took on her phone.  We were so blessed by Kelly's visit!!!!

9 Months and randomness :)

Aiden had his 9 month appointment on Monday.  He is doing great.  He is still not babbling and has just started cooing, but the doctor thinks it is because he is so focused on moving :)  And that is definitely the truth :)  He is very intent on whatever he is doing...no time to "talk".  He likes to eat :)  He leans forward with his mouth open when I feed him baby food and he shoves the puffs in his mouth by the handful.  He is a happy little boy....still has a little bit of a temper, but since he is so much happier now that he can move...I rarely see his temper.  I LOVE the he will hug / snuggle with me....he will just lay his head on my shoulder and just let me love on him.  I LOVE IT!!!!

August 25 through September 7 (Labor Day and First Day of School)

I don't have an iphone yet and it looks like it might still be awhile, because my early phone upgrade is no longer an option because AT&T has come up with a new promotion.  So looks like I will be rocking the flip phone a little while longer :)  Until then, I will take pictures with the ipad on occasion and post to instagram.  Here are the recent instagram posts.

Mrs. Louis was in town to help Alex with baby Alexandria's homecoming.  So she was in town over Labor Day weekend.  So Mrs. Louis and James came with us to Matthew Alive.

Even though we went right when the festival started...it was hot.  So we took a break under one of the tents and cooled off and had a snack before the parade began.  I don't have any pictures of the parade because Aiden was done.  So I took him back to the car.  The boys had a lot of fun!

On Labor Day, we went to the new park downtown that opened on Labor Day weekend.  It was a really cool park (look closely to see Walt and Dillan)

It had a mist ground and a place where you could jump on these squares and it made a musical sound.

Aiden was once again a trooper!  Shortly after this picture, I held him in the Bjorn and he fell asleep.

There were also rocks that the kids were jumping off.  I thought that maybe they were "play equipment" material, but no...they are real rocks.  Not sure that is the best idea, but the boys sure did have fun!

There was a parade that was apparently more of a political parade, but the boys did not care.  They loved seeing the cars and the bands that walked by.

We had to make play doh for Jackson's first day of school...so we made a batch for our house.

We were treading on thin ice the first day of school....it seems like Jackson and Dillan were a minute away from a major meltdown (not school related)...so I was lucky to get these pictures...unfortunately, they are not that clear.

Dillan was a little upset at drop off, but apparently had a great day and even kept his big boy underwear dry.  Jackson had a FABULOUS day and was super excited about EVERYTHING!  So we called Daddy and aunt Meredith happened to call...so she also got to hear all about Jackson's day.  He was walking around holding the phone and talking :)

He is growing up so fast!!!!  Hard to believe he is 9 months....stay tuned for his stats...his 9 month appointment is tomorrow.

Aiden was cruising around our ottoman and then tried to cruise to his standing toy table and fell and busted his lip :(  Dillan also managed to bust his lip later that day, but it looked fine the next day.  Here is Aiden's next day pic :(   He was tough...he only cried for a minute.  I love those big blue eyes!!!!
