My mom got a book for Jackson to give me that recorded his answers to certain questions...he was very excited to give it to me :)

Have I mentioned yet that Aiden started walking right before his first birthday but he was still a little unsteady :)

An attempt to get a picture of the 3 boys on Christmas morning...Dillan is very serious :)

My mom wanted to get a picture of all the grandkids...easier said than done....between the older kids sleeping late in the morning....David still taking 2 naps a day....and my kids taking their naps...we ended up taking the picture around nap / lunch time which really only impacted Dillan who is notably absent from the picture.  He had an incident right before the picture and could not regroup.

We got a quick picture with an obviously upset Dillan for completeness :)  After all, my mom was going to use it for her New Year's cards :)

Do you notice a theme :)  See Dillan laying on the ground :)  At least he is not crying...just not interested in having his picture taken :)

On the way to Texas, we stopped at Walt's brother's house and spent the night.  Jackson left Dougie (his lovey) and sweet aunt Rebekah tried to overnight it to Jackson.  He was so happy when he arrived!

We visited my grandmother at the nursing home and had Christmas with her.  Only Jackson and I went because Walt stayed with Dillan and Aiden while they napped.  It was a stretch for Jackson...he almost fell asleep while we were there....but he did great!

We had a great time with my family.  Unfortunately, we had to drive out on Christmas afternoon because Walt's family was getting together the day after Christmas.  So it was a quick trip and sadly we won't make it to the beach this year or my cousin's wedding since we will be busy with Hudson's arrival....I can't think of a better reason not to go, but we will miss that time with my family!
